![]() Let us live our lives in remembrance of Him. A lovely, lyrical piece with a piano part. This setting flows gently in 3/4, 'Come to me in the silence of the night'. The texts are both Christina Rossetti poems. Let us walk salvation’s road with fear and trembling and have Christ formed in us. Commissioned by the Winnipeg Philharmonic Choir, this is the first of a set of two pieces for SATB divisi, piano, and optional clarinet. Let us never forget His grace and mercy and the price He paid for us. Let us remember the incredible sacrifice that Jesus made for us and live our lives in remembrance of Him. We are to live our lives in remembrance of Him. We are to walk salvation’s road with fear and trembling, and to have Christ formed in us. We are to remember the price He paid for us and to never forget His grace. We are to remember Jesus’ sacrifice and to live our lives in remembrance of Him. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.’” The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 11:24-25, “And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, ‘Take, eat this is My body which is broken for you do this in remembrance of Me.’ In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood. We are to remember the price that Jesus paid for us and to never forget His grace. The song also reminds us to walk salvation’s road with fear and trembling, and to have Christ formed in us. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:22, “And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.” Jesus’ blood was shed for us so that we could be forgiven of our sins and have a new covenant with God. We are to recall the cup poured out in sacrifice to trade our sinner’s end for His new covenant. He took the bread of life, broken for all our sins, and His body was crucified to make us whole again. We are reminded in the song “ Remembrance” by Hillsong Worship of the incredible sacrifice that Jesus made for us.
